The Bel G.hn Small Form-factor Pluggable (SFP) bridge module is a G.hn Wave-2 Ethernet bridge, based on the ITU-T G.9960 wired networking standard, that delivers broadband service over existing phone-line twisted pair or coaxial cable. Housed in an SFP form factor, the module plugs into standard equipment ports and pairs directly with Bel fiber link extenders, letting operators extend service across legacy in-building and drop wiring without replacing it. It is positioned for broadband access deployments where running fiber to the endpoint is not economical.
