Santa Clara, CA [October 20, 2026] Bel Fuse Inc., a leading global manufacturer of trusted components, systems, and solutions for mission-critical applications across industrial, medical, and data solutions markets, today announced the SDM100G Series, a new family of 100 W medical desktop power supplies that combines USB-C Power Delivery (PD) with gallium nitride (GaN) technology. As Bel's first USB Type-C medical power supply line, the series gives medical equipment designers a compact, globally compatible option for powering and charging devices across multiple voltage requirements.

The SDM100G Series supports five USB-C PD output levels (5 V, 9 V, 12 V, 15 V, and 20 V) enabling a single power platform to support a broad range of devices. C8 and C14 AC inlet options address different regional electrical standards and equipment requirements, while the USB-C interface provides a widely adopted charging standard that can help customers simplify accessories and reduce electronic waste.
Built for medical environments, the series carries a Means of Patient Protection (MOPP) safety classification to support protection against electric shock. Integrated overcurrent and short-circuit protection help protect connected equipment and reduce the risk of system failure. The series is certified to IEC/UL 60601-1 and supports global regulatory and EMC requirements, including UL, cUL, UKCA, CE, and FCC.
The SDM100G Series is designed for portable medical devices, remote patient-monitoring equipment, mobile medical workstations, and wearable medical devices. It also supports industrial and consumer or IoT applications that benefit from compact, high-efficiency USB-C power delivery. The family comprises 12 SKUs and has a standard lead time of 10 weeks.
