A Closer Look: Bel Magnetic Solutions MagJack® Integrated Connector Modules

Bel and TRP ICMs support 10/100 Base-T to 10GBase-T and 100W PoE, meeting bandwidth demands with MagJack® ICMs.

Bel Magnetic's MagJack Integrated Connector Modules are a high-speed, high-power upgrades for PoE applications such as next-generation access points and IP cameras, LED lighting, and large screen displays. The MagJack ICMs can carry 100 watts of power using all four pairs of an Ethernet cable, nearly doubling the 60 watts previously available with PoE++. This high power capability is paired with high bandwidth, with ports available for 1GBase-T and 2.5GBase-T Ethernet.


They're compatible with all known current- and voltage-mode PHYs, are backwards compatible with lower speeds and lower power applications, and use an industry standard footprint and pinout, allowing designers to seamlessly migrate existing designs to handle higher power and speed as applications evolve. The ICMs are offered with many LED color combinations and include integrated magnetics for a simpler design.
