Axial Lead Battery Strap PTC used in rechargeable battery packs, Lithiunm cell and battery packs. Low profile, solid state resettable PTCs with operating (hold current) range of 1.2 - 4.2A and maximum voltage of 15V - 30VDC. These devices have been investigated for use in safety circuit and are suitable as a limiting device. They have been also calibrated to limit the current to 8 amps within 5 seconds, per ANSI/NFPA 70, "National Electrical Code".
