(NASDAQ:BELFA and NASDAQ:BELFB), a premier global manufacturer of standard glass and ceramic cartridge fuses including axial leaded board mounted options, is the expansion of Bel Fuse Circuit Protection introduces new 0659C/0659P Series of time-lag ceramic body cartridge fuse with nickel plated brass caps and matte tin plated copper leads. The 0659 Series is fully automated. The 0659C is the lower cost version of the 5HT and the 0659P is the lower cost version of the 5HTP and both have a 1 – 6.3A range.

Designed in a compact 5 x 20 mm footprint to save space on the printed circuit board, the 0659C/0659P Series provides surge withstand capability and high breaking capacity of 250 VAC @ 1500 A with available current ratings from 1 A to 6.3 A.

The 0659C/0659P Series meets all the requirements outlined in global IEC 60127-2, Sheet 5 specifications for time-lag fuses. It is RoHS compliant, lead and halogen free, and UL, VDE, CCC and other agencies approved.

Wide operating temperature range from -55°C to +125°C ensures robust performance and reliable protection in extreme temperature environments.

The 0659C/0659P fuses are used as supplementary protection in appliance or utilization equipment such as: power supplies, battery chargers, monitors or adapters to provide individual protection for components or internal circuits.

The 0659C/0659P is available in quantities of 500 (pigtail type) or 1000 packaged in bulk, or in tape and reel packing (10mm pitch) in quantity of 1500 pcs.
