Signal Transformer announces the release of a new line of high current toroidal inductors. Toroidal inductors offer a number of benefits in your circuit design including low stray emi, high-efficiency, low operating temperature, and is offered in a vertical mount. With over 24 different models available, they can be used as filters and even energy storage devices. Typical applications include, consumer products, LCD TVs, car radios, mobile communication devices, heavy industrial applications, and DC to DC power supplies. These self shielding high current components have a distributed air gap design with an inductance range of 10 to 1,000 micro henries and a current range of 2.4 to 20 amps.
