Signal Transformer is expanding its miniature SMD bead (chip inductor) family with the introduction of the FCBA1 series. This ceramic chip inductor series is well suited for high frequency applications offering a lower profile and a broad range of inductance/current and exceptionally high SRF and Q values. The FCBA1-0805 is the third of five new series with a max height profile of 1.52 mm, and a footprint of 2.30 mm x 1.73 mm. A Miniature SMD Chip Inductor is a small, compact passive electronic component (also known as ceramic chip inductor) ideal for most broad band filtering applications used in RF and microwave frequency communication devices, providing sharp resonance frequency due to high Q value. Designed to isolate and filter high frequency AC signal noise and to form resonant and LC tuning circuits with capacitors, resistors etc.
