The boost converters were designed in accordance with the standards EN 50155 and EN 50121-3-2 to meet the requirements of various railway and industrial applications in rugged environment. They are particularly suitable to expand the input voltage range of power supplies (e.g. 110IMY15 or 110IMY70 Series DC-DC converters). An additional circuit allows for providing a predefined interruption time. When the input voltage exceeds a predefined output voltage level, the input voltage is directly fed forward. The converters exhibit an input EMC-filter. The boost converters are available in a fully enclosed case or open-frame (option Z).
