The 2.92mm family of connectors is growing to support the wide range of applications. 2.92mm connectors are designed to operate to a maximum frequency of 40 GHz. They are available in the following form factors: Solderless Screw-on End Launch and Vertical Launch and 45 degree Launch, as well as Solder Straddle Mount, Thru Hole and PCB Cutout mount End Launch, as well as cabled connectors, field replaceable connectors, panel mount and thread-in/ spark plugs. It utilizes an air dielectric and support bead for higher cutoff frequency. 2.92mm connectors are intermateable with SMA.
