Melcher RCM Series Chassis Mount Converters provide high-efficiency and high-density power conversion that is optimized for railway and other harsh applications. RCM Series converters are available from 60 watts up to 1,000 watts and provide a single output at 12, 15, or 24 volts. The converters have inputs centered around nominal railway battery voltages from 24 to 110 volts with a wide input range to address large voltage fluctuations. Multiple units can be used in series or parallel to address higher voltage or current requirements or for redundancy.

They feature a closed chassis mountable housing with vents for cooling and are compliant with applicable safety, mechanical, electrical, and fire testing standards.
