Signal Transformer Enhances High Frequency Magnetics Offering with High Current Toroidal Inductors

Inwood, NY [July 18, 2017] Signal Transformer, a Bel group company (NASDAQ: BELFA and BELFB) and global manufacturer of custom and standard transformers, chokes, inductors, transformers, and SMD inductors, announces the addition of the vertical mount High Current Toroidal Inductor (HCTI) series are widely used for EMI/RFI filtering, reduced radiation, energy storage capability, high efficiency and low loss performance.

The HCTI is available in a wide range of standard inductances from 10-1000 µH and a rated current ranging 2.4A to 20A. By increasing frequencies, the HCTI allows for flexibility in applications such as Lighting, SMPS, Power Supplies, DC-DC converters, EMI/RFI filtering, Industrial, and Consumer Goods.  Custom versions can be designed for horizontal PCB mounting, with 2 or 4 pin headers, or non-standard inductances.
