Lombard, IL [September 26, 2017] Cinch Connectivity Solutions, a Bel group company, (NASDAQ: BELFA and BELFB) and global leader in delivering reliable connectivity solutions, announces the release of the ModICE® mini-ME enclosure system for harsh environment electronics applications.
ModICE is a line of environmentally sealed connector enclosures for use with ruggedized control modules. The enclosures are available in various sizes and header/connector configurations. ModICE is a turnkey solution for applications in agriculture, heavy equipment, commercial and recreational vehicles as well as general industrial controls. ModICE enclosures are rated IP67 and IP69K, easy to assemble and remain sealed even when the harness is not mated.
The ModICE mini-ME enclosure is compatible with all ModICE ME headers, including ME-MX and ME-RF. The smaller and lighter mini-ME enclosures are ideal in applications such as:
- Vehicle Electronic Controls: CAN BUS, ISO BUS, Powertrain, Chassis and Hydraulics
- Telematics: Fleet Management, Electronic Logging Device (ELD), Precision Agriculture and M2M
