Waseca, MN [July 6, 2018] Cinch Connectivity Solutions, a Bel group company, (NASDAQ:  BELFA and BELFB) and global leader in delivering reliable connectivity solutions, is proud to announce they have three participants graduate from their Machinist Apprenticeship program this month. The company started the program in 2015 as a way to grow their workforce and provide an in-house paid training program for interested students. This month’s graduation marks the second class to complete the program. To date, they have educated and promoted five apprentices through this program.

The apprenticeship is an eight-month training program which includes being hired as a contract worker, paid education and on-the-job training with seasoned Machinists. Credentials are earned through competency based skill assessments offered through the National Institute for Metalworking (NIMS).Upon graduation from the program, participants will convert to a regular full time associate at Cinch. Promotion to CNC Machinist is then awarded once further proficiency is demonstrated.

“We are excited to enhance the way we train and hire our workforce. Our apprenticeship program will open doors to the future for many students, and Cinch is looking forward to trailblazing new and exciting career paths for the workforce in our communities,” said Jesse Sherman, Director of North American Operations.

Our congratulations go out to all of our graduates. Their hard work and commitment has enabled us to give them the opportunity to transform their lives and launch lifetime careers. We wish them all the very best for a long and rewarding career at Cinch,“ said Peter Bittner, President, Bel Connectivity.
