Bel Power Solutions’ Dubnica nad Váhom, Slovakia Factory Receives IATF 16949 Certification for Automotive Power Supplies
Santa Clara, CA [June 28, 2022] Bel Power Solutions, a Bel group company, today announced its factory in Slovakia received IATF 16949 certification, the International Standard for Automotive Quality Management Systems. This standard ensures organizations create quality products and perform services in accordance with stringent automotive industry expectations.
The International Automotive Task Force developed IATF 16949 in 2016 with support from the Automotive Industry Action Group; this standard requires certification by a third-party auditor. IATF 16949 incorporates the structure and requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 quality management standard system, which allows companies to streamline their productivity, increase efficiency, and foster innovation and operational growth. The new certification emphasizes product expansion, improving power systems, risk management, and supplier management.
A few benefits of the certification include prevention detection, waste reduction, product safety, risk management, contingency planning, and management of sub-tier suppliers.
