Bel Fuse-Circuit Protection Announces New 0678 Series Fuses
0678 Series H and D Both Feature High Voltage and
High Interrupting Rating in the Surface Mount Form Factor
Jersey City, NJ [June 19, 2018] Bel Fuse-Circuit Protection, a Bel group company (NASDAQ: BELFA and BELFB) and premier global manufacturer of fuses, announces the 0678 Series of surface mount fuses, which are available now in D (high AC voltage rating) and H (enhanced breaking capacity) for AC and DC high amp and high interrupting rating applications, such as blade computing and blade servers.
The 0678H Series, 500mA through 40A, offers high-amp circuit protection and a compact (9.8 mm x 3.05 mm x 3.05 mm) surface-mount form factor to save board space. In addition, the 0678H Series enables blade servers to operate at higher power (125Vdc rating) and includes high melting I²t, which prevents nuisance tripping caused by transient surge during blade server hot swapping.
The fast-acting 0678D Series has an even higher voltage rating at 350Vac and ultra-high interrupting ratings (up to 2000 A at 125 VDC). Other D Series features include current ratings from 500mA to 5A, wide operating temperature range from -55°C to 125°C, tape and reel for the auto-insert SMD process, RoHS compliance (with exemption 7a), compatibility with the 260°C, IR Pb-free solder process and are Halogen Free (MSL=1).
Both series of fuses are ideal for customer applications, including datacom and telecom equipment, high-end blade servers, PC servers, base stations, voltage regulator modules, office electronic equipment, industrial or medical equipment, power supplies, PoE and PoE+, DC-DC conversion and mass storage systems. Bel’s fuses have been tested and certified and carry the cURus mark for both the U.S. and Canada.
The 0678H Series fuses are in stock with Digi-Key, Mouser and Arrow in up to 2,000 pieces for all ratings and types. Product samples also available upon request. For more detailed information, visit the 0678H Series product page here or download the datasheet.
The 0678D Series fuses are in stock with Digi-Key, Mouser and Arrow in up to 2,000 pieces for all ratings and types. Product samples also available upon request. For more detailed information, visit the 0678D Series product page here or download the datasheet.
